LAHORE: The faculty members of the Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) of Punjab University has proposed an idea for the Punjab government to set up a model “FM Radio-Initiative for Farmers” to educate farmers to attain the desired goal of the Punjab government vis-à-vis livestock sector.
They suggested that like a laptop for each university student, if each farmer in Punjab is provided with an FM radio set (or cell phone with FM Radio) after establishing a specialized FM Radio for farmers to mobilize and educate them.
